How you can help
Please note that due to our commitment to protect our children, volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and have a clear background. no court-ordered community service is available.
Nana’s CASA welcomes the local community, corporate and church groups to help make a positive impact in the lives of each child at Nana’s CASA. We depend on the generosity of various contributions to help bring a smile and a helping hand to our residents. In addition to the normal care our shelter, volunteers can help to provide more individualized attention.
Ways to Volunteer: Individuals
- Direct care with the children
- (training and background check required)
- Make phone calls
- Help sort donations
- Commit to a small or large landscaping project
- Provide mulch and place in flower beds, plant flowers, mow the lawn, rake leaves
- Have a meal catered
- Hosting an arts and crafts party or game day
- Plan a special Holiday event
- Hosting an arts and crafts party or game day
- Hold a Facebook Donation drive
Ways to Volunteer: Groups
- Organize a volunteer project for your office
- community, or church group to support Nana’s CASA youth
- Coordinating field trips
- such as a picnic, movie night, or a day at the arcade
- Organizing a donation drive based on our Needs List
